Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics. Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics. Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics.  Not going to think about politics. 2. Karin,

"Now, we're going to make a new rule. When you come in here and you hear me typing

    [types]

or whether you DON'T hear me typing, or whatever the FUCK you hear me doing; when I'm in here, it means that I am working, THAT means don't come in. Now, do you think you can handle that? "

    (I feel better now).

  5. I should print this and paste it above my computer. My head is spinning and I cannot wait for these elections to be over. Thank you for the positive reinforcement of my angst, TF.

  6. Willow,

I've cork-lined the room, but triple-locked the door as a safety feature.

  7. orfeenix,

    "You just keep thinkin' . . . That's what you're good at."

As for me, I'll continue the 'mantra blot-out' method!

  8. Cher,

Despite this entry and months alternating classical music and hour-long underwater aerobics to find 'internal space' equal to the external taken away by the loudspeakers of the political season, (pause) I did discuss these upcoming elections with good friends at work and produced a bulimic's treasure trove of pent-up bile.

We concluded that the unmatched ugliness of this year's 'free speech' would either produce little more than would otherwise have been expected and perhaps backfire on the perps.

    We'll see.

In the meantime, 'Not going to think about politics'.
