I like a book of the Bible, l' Ecclesiastic, when Salomon says" thre is a time for everything" There will be an Apocalypse, perhaps, but not yet, i hope. Before that, some artists , some thinkers, some writers, like you help to understand past , present and future .. because you look with your soul.
Ads have appeared linked to this blog for sales of anti-Obama material. I have been unsuccessful in getting 'systems satisfaction' to bar such linkage.
Any clueless machine-association between any of my opinions and those of the political right wing are utterly coincidental and strenuously eschewed.

ReplyDeleteIsabelle,
ReplyDeleteYes, "there is a time . . ." and we're measuring it, daily.
Let's 'raise a glass' to art, something that may outlive us, extend us to those we'll never meet.

too much future, not enough time - so true - we should rather try to enjoy the presence...no..?
ReplyDeleteClaudia,
ReplyDeleteWhat I keep re-forming in my head is the philosophic sense that there IS no future, ONLY a present. Ever.
That's a hard one to grab onto, to believe, since we feel our continuance.
I guess there's not enough time to puzzle that out -- so you're right. Just enjoy, live, it.
