Part way through the 3rd year, I stopped.

Despite liking the cast a lot and liking the relatively smart subject matter and liking the quick ironic dialogue, I had concluded that the character House -- though played by Hugh Laurie whose acting I like -- the character was an unmitigated a**hole.

If I worked with him or for him, it wouldn't be for long.

On the recommendation of my daughter, I picked up the CDs once more. She assures me that cast changes and a new function for the character makes it more palatable.

I'll give it a shot. After all, what else do I have to do when I'm eating yoghurt and cereal?

Whether or not things change enough is problematic -- TV formulas that are very popular don't often change.

(I'll think of you when I reach the episode dealing with tattoos).

TFoolTrulyfoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13385653066007723233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3673238941836727429.post-32956682611891796902010-10-18T11:32:29.673-07:002010-10-18T11:32:29.673-07:00Willow,

'Tatts' scare me, and it's one of those puzzlements that I simply don't understand their popularity.

(They don't go away)

As for Moby Dick, the John Huston version with Gregory Peck, one of our cats has a white streak irregularly running her nose and chin.
